Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects everyone differently — no two journeys are the same.

That’s why at NICE, through our Conductive Movement Therapy (CMT), we take a personalised approach, helping each individual find strategies that work for them. We believe there are always ways to make the most of the movements a person has, while also supporting them to prevent potential secondary complications that can arise from reduced activity.

Our sessions are designed to reduce the impact of MS and to help individuals stay as active, confident and independent as possible, no matter what stage of the condition they are living with. By carefully analysing how each person moves, we can introduce practical techniques that increase their sense of control, improve functional skills, and enable them to use these movements more effectively in daily life.

Whether it’s learning how to manage fatigue, practising ways to maintain balance, or developing strategies to move more efficiently, our approach gives individuals tools they can carry into everyday activities. Over time, these strategies not only support mobility but also contribute to improved confidence, independence and overall wellbeing.

At NICE, we believe progress is always possible. Through tailored support, experienced therapists and a focus on what matters most to each person, we aim to help those with MS continue to live active, fulfilling lives and feel empowered to manage their condition.
