Parkinson’s

At NICE, we see people with Parkinson’s not as individuals gradually losing their abilities, but as learners with the capacity to grow and adapt.

Parkinson’s brings challenges that can make daily life more difficult, but with the right cues, guidance and encouragement, many skills can be relearned, strengthened and maintained. Through Conductive Education, we help people discover strategies that enable them to manage symptoms, stay active and feel more confident in their everyday routines.

We also understand that Parkinson’s is never experienced in isolation. It affects the whole family — partners, children, and loved ones — each of whom may face their own worries and responsibilities. That’s why at NICE we support not just the person with Parkinson’s but their wider support network too. Along with conductive movement therapy, we also provide practical advice, emotional reassurance and opportunities to share experiences, so that carers and family members feel included and supported on the journey.

Our approach is built on the belief that life with Parkinson’s can still be fulfilling and meaningful. With the right support, people can continue to enjoy independence, take part in activities that matter to them, and feel empowered to live well with the condition.
