Our conductors have a deep understanding of neurological conditions, but every child is unique — and the best way for us to understand your child’s specific needs is by meeting them in person.
The initial consultation lasts around one hour and provides a valuable opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress, challenges, and future goals. During the session, the conductor will observe your child’s movements, explore what they can do, and offer guidance on how our services may help.
This consultation is an important part of the process, as it will help determine whether Conductive Education could benefit your child and, if so, in what ways.
After the consultation, you will receive a written report detailing the conductor’s observations and recommendations. If we feel that our services may not be the right fit, we’ll let you know and do our best to signpost you to other suitable options. However, for the majority of children we meet, we are able to offer a place. It is only at this stage that you’ll need to decide whether you would like to go ahead.
