Learn from our experts who combine decades of hands-on professional experience with advanced academic expertise.
Develop your professional practice. Make a difference.
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme brings together extensive professional experience, academic expertise and practical knowledge across Conductive Education, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and neurological rehabilitation.
Our training is delivered by experienced practitioners and academics with decades of hands-on experience working alongside children, young people and adults with physical disabilities, neurological conditions and movement disorders. Our team combines substantial professional and practical experience with postgraduate and doctoral-level academic expertise, ensuring that our CPD is grounded in both real-world practice and contemporary research.
We offer opportunities to explore new perspectives, develop professional knowledge and translate theory, evidence and experience into meaningful practice. Our training is relevant to professionals working across education, health, rehabilitation and social care, including conductors, teachers, therapists, nurses, allied health professionals, support staff and others working with people with physical disabilities and neurological conditions.
Our CPD offer
Whether you are looking to develop your own professional knowledge, introduce new ideas to a team, strengthen existing practice or explore a particular area in greater depth, our CPD can be tailored to your needs.

“The ethical and responsible use of GenAI training was specifically designed for our Conductive Education setting. The trainer had been in constant correspondence with me beforehand to understand what our team would like to gain from the training, which meant that the training was very relevant and connected well to our roles within our setting.
The training was very well prepared, with a good range of resources and information. It was particularly useful to learn about the different types of AI and to consider whether different AI tools would provide the same answers.
We found out a lot about some of the dangers and ethical issues around using AI. It made us more aware of what we need to be careful with when using it, particularly around what information we put into AI and the way we ask questions. The training also reinforced the importance of using our own professional knowledge, experience and judgement. It reassured us that AI does not know better than us – it is a tool that we can use.
We have learned a lot about both the uses and dangers of AI and we will be able to use it in a much more informed and careful way.
Thank you, Annamaria, for a really useful and relevant training session.”
“I found the AI training extremely useful and came away with a much better understanding of the potential of AI in my work and at my workplace. The training was particularly valuable in helping me understand the importance of using AI critically, questioning its outputs, and recognising when further checking or professional judgment is needed.
It has also given me greater confidence to explore and use AI whilst doing so thoughtfully and responsibly.”
